Lady Drama otherwise known as Ebony Garris knew she had a keen sense and love for being on the radio at a very young age. From an announcer on her grandfather’s highly syndicated radio show on WWRL at the young age of two all the way to her experienced radio talk show on 98.1FM WSTU in Atlanta, Lady Drama has proven herself a force to be reckoned with. The drama hour offers listeners the opportunity to be informed about the latest celebrity gossip, hear intense interviews with their favorite celebrities who are often asked questions that they may not want to answer but that fans want to know, call in for her keen advice on topics ranging from money issues to marital bliss and cheating spouses you name it and she takes a crack at it. Not only do listeners go away from the drama hour feeling greatly entertained they beg for more and more and more.
Ebony grew up in Montclair, New Jersey, a suburb 45 minutes outside New York City. Ebony earned a Bachelor’s Degree in communications with a minor in radio/television/film from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia in May 2007. Ebony spent most of her time working various shifts at her college radio station, WSTU, and interning for the most popular prime time show in Atlanta on WVEE 103.3 with Greg Street . Upon graduation, Lady Drama continues to serve her fan base through her weekly gossip blog on myspace.com along with syndicated shows on 98.1 FM her college radio station.
This shock-jock has managed to rally some of today’s hottest talent both reputable and new emerging artists. Lady Drama is known for making it happen and instantly topping the charts. Lady Drama’s new goal is to expand her radio dominance through the Houston area. Lady Drama is currently working on her up and coming novel “This is What Dreams are Made Of” which is slated to be released the summer of next year. As she continues to serve her fans Lady Drama keeps in mind her number one goal which is to keep her fans updated coining her special catch phrase “stay updated or be underrated”.
